Wooden toys

Wipe with a damp cloth and let them dry in the air. Do not soak them or put them in the dishwasher. A rub of beeswax once a year brings the wood back to life.

Soft toys and clothes

Wash as the label says, usually at 30 °C, and dry flat. Teddies can go in a pillowcase on a gentle cycle.

Check before play

Look over toys every few weeks. Put away anything with a crack, a splinter or a loose part until it is mended.
