Vine to glass

A year in four seasons

  1. Rows of young vines on the hill in spring

    Spring

    Pruning by hand

Each vine is pruned by hand so it gives fewer, better grapes.

  2. Ripe clusters of dark grapes on the vine at golden hour

    Summer

    Slow ripening

Warm days and cool nights on the hill keep the grapes fresh.

  3. Crates of picked grapes between the rows at dawn

    Autumn

    The harvest

Picked into small crates at first light, before the sun warms the fruit.

  4. Old oak barrels in the stone cellar

    Winter

    Time in oak

The Riserva rests for two years in large old barrels before bottling.
