Care guide

Light

One sun: a few metres from a window, or a north-facing room. Two suns: near a bright window, but no sun on the leaves. Three suns: a sunny sill.

Water

One drop: let the soil dry right through. Two drops: water when the top few centimetres are dry. Three drops: keep it lightly moist, never soggy.

Humidity

Three marks means it likes a bathroom, a pebble tray or a mister, especially with the heating on.

Pets

Many houseplants are not safe for cats and dogs. Check each plant with your vet before it comes home. Demo guide.

The plant everyone recognises: big glossy leaves that split as they grow. Happy a metre or two from a bright window, and forgiving if you forget to water for a week. Arrives in a 17 cm (Medium) or 24 cm (Large) nursery pot.

Demo product for the POLYMATH theme preview. Not for sale; details are illustrative.

Pets and children

Many houseplants are not safe to eat. Keep plants out of reach and check with your vet before bringing one home.

Shipping and returns

Plants ship Monday to Wednesday so they never spend a weekend in transit. If a plant arrives damaged, send us a photo within 7 days. (Demo policy.)

First week home

Pot it, water it

Every pot has a drainage hole. Choose one a few centimetres wider than the nursery pot.
