We train too
PULSE is a fictional fitness brand created to show the POLYMATH theme. We make leggings, tops and iron for people who train three or four times a week and want kit that keeps up.
We started with one pair of leggings that would not go see-through at the bottom of a squat. Everything since has had to pass the same kind of test.

How we test
Tested on the rack, the track and the mat
Every piece spends a month in real sessions before it goes on sale: squats in the leggings, intervals in the shorts, swings with the kettlebells. If it rubs, rides up or rolls away, it goes back to the drawing board. (Demo copy.)
- Squat-tested in daylight, so nothing shows through
- Washed again and again before sign-off
- Iron dropped, swung and stacked on a rubber floor
In numbers (demo)
What goes into the kit
- recycled nylon
- 78%
In the Sculpt Leggings. The rest is elastane, for the stretch.
- weights, one kettlebell size
- 4
8 to 24 kg with the same handle, so your technique carries over.
- millimetres of cushion
- 5
In the Grip Yoga Mat, on a natural rubber base.
- days to change your mind
- 30
On unworn kit. (Demo policy.)
Our rules
Three rules for every piece
Numbers, not buzzwords
We tell you what a fabric is made of, in per cent, and let you decide. You will not find the word “eco” on a label.
No seam where you squat
No front seam on the leggings and flat-locked seams everywhere else, so nothing digs in or shows through.
Iron that does not chip
Rubber-coated and powder-coated steel instead of chrome, with the weight stamped where you can see it.
Why PULSE
Kit should disappear in the session and show up in the mirror.
